1. Light furniture moving consists of moving furniture items that are considered "movable". Most items in the average home are movable. We simply put plastic tabs or foam blocks under them when replacing them to thier original positions. This protects both the furniture and the carpet. Items that we do NOT consider movable are aquariums/fish tanks, large entertainment centers, large wine cabinets, armoires, water beds, large bed/headboard combinations .... etc. We will gladly tell you, BEFORE starting any work, whether or not an item can be moved for cleaning. There are some items that although they can be moved, it may be desirable not to move them. Such as a leather sectional, where the leather goes all the way to the floor (actually touching the carpet), or a piece of furniture that requires floor support across the entire base (has no legs). Even though it can be moved, once replaced onto the cleaned carpet these items may bleed thier color into the freshly cleaned carpet.
